    Nice little laptop

    I wanted just a laptop to edit photos, research etc. I haven't had a laptop in 10 years, so I wanted one before proposed tariffs hit. Does everything I want is pretty fast. Sound quality could be better, but it works fine. Easy to set up and affordable. Good laptop for a great price!

    Those who know me well know (especially my family and friends) that I have always had a good eye. Therefore, I chose this laptop, and they bought it with me when they needed it. Because we are all freelancers, having a good laptop in hand can make it more convenient for us to go out and work, especially the type-c charger configured, which is very convenient and practical for anyone.

    Nice laptop

    I purchased this laptop after the hard drive on my 5-year-old Dell started failing. I was looking for something with a solid-state drive, to speed things up, and this Nimo looks to have done the trick. Our company has 20 locations, and if this Nimo continues to work well for me, I am thinking this may just be the brand we will go to for future company needs as well. Made in the USA and seems very well built. Only have been using it for a day so far and will adjust the rating in the future if there are any issues, but for now I gladly give 5-stars. Full disclosure - I don't use it for gaming, so I have no idea how it would be for gamers, but for office work I really like it.

    Nimo is an American company based in DE. They're new to the laptop market and I was admittedly a bit leery at first but I saw a review for another 15 machine of theirs and then they ran a killer sale on a 17 one that gave me the RAM and hard drive space I really wanted and for the $$$ I thought it seemed worth it.I got the gray and black model because that one was on sale and the blue wasn't. They're very much alike in terms of the design and the track pad has the same subtle glitter effect which I really liked. I'm a bright color person and I'd have liked the blue but this Space Gray is pretty nice looking in it's own right and I like it.About the only thing I didn't like was the copy of Windows 11 Home that was installed on it. It was just buggy and it was crashing constantly and really was hard to work with. I de-installed it and reverted to Windows 10 Pro and now everything is working like it should. Big difference.This model is not a gaming laptop but I'm playing casual games on it just fine. I'm voice typing and doing video and photography edits without any major problems. There's more than enough speed from the 32GB of ram installed to cover my needs.The last new laptop I bought it was a pain to set up. With Win 10 on here I'm not having any major issues. The back lighting is sort of a dimmer purplish white so it's not as hard on the eyes as white can usually be but I did suggest that they add a couple of user friendly options, maybe green and some other color that would work and that are eye friendly. The sound isn't bad but the speakers could be better. At this price point they're decent but watching videos sans headphones I found it to be limited. The sound is much better plugged in.Video is good, not bad. I'm not a hard gamer but my casual games and videos look good. I don't think looking at video installed it can run really graphics intensive games. You really need the gaming model for that.That's about it. I was going to do a video review but my older video came isn't working and my hands are not steady enough to use my phone for that. I'll grab another cam at some point and do one with video.But so far I like this company and I like the laptop I got. They are very responsive. The warranty is really good and for the $$$ I think this laptop is a great buy. Plus it's a good looking machine and that I like. It makes using it fun...
