Condition-Based Refund Adjustments

All returned computers are inspected after arrival. Any refund adjustment is based on the condition of the product received by Nimo compared with the condition in which it was originally sold.

Normal setup, testing, and light signs of ordinary use that still meet our Like New standard will not result in a deduction.

Condition Definitions

Good: Fully functional, but with significant cosmetic wear that materially reduces resale value.

Refurbished Products

For refurbished products, the returned condition is compared with the condition grade in which the product was sold:

Customer-Caused Damage and Missing Items

Customer-caused damage—including liquid damage, impact damage, unauthorized disassembly or modification—and missing components or accessories are not covered by the standard grading table. These cases are reviewed manually. Nimo may deduct the documented loss in value, repair cost, or replacement cost, up to 100% of the merchandise price.

No condition-based deduction will apply when the issue is confirmed to be a product defect or shipping damage not caused by the customer.

Inspection and Notification

Nimo inspects the returned product and records its condition and any missing items.
Nimo determines the applicable condition grade and refund amount.
If a deduction applies, Nimo provides the customer with the deduction amount and an explanation.
The remaining refund is issued to the original payment method.

This policy does not limit any rights available under applicable consumer-protection laws.

It’s amazing but i bought it with the intention of the rose gold color but got silver, im not returning it or asking for a new one but it was a little disappointing but it’s still amazing

Truly Perfect, from an engineering student

I don't often leave reviews, but I figured I had to this time. Overall, I LOVE it. I am currently a mechanical engineering student. I got this laptop to do CAD work and some light gaming. I can happily say that it has held up to my uses and more. From hours of 3D modeling with 3+ extra programs running in the background, to playing heavily modified games, I can't say I have been held back by the laptop at all.

I am so glad I found your company before I dropped thousands of dollars on a laptop with half the capabilities and not even available in pink (a very important aspect, of course). I have recommended your company and this specific laptop (N171) to every other engineering student who has asked (and even the ones that didn't).

If I had one critique, it would be the speaker quality. Though, majority of the time I am using headphones or plug in other speakers anyway so not a huge deal.

Just recently, my engineer dad also decided to go for an upgrade, and I helped him choose the N177. I love the product and your brand. Please keep doing what you are doing.

A few glitches

Nice laptop but a few glitches. Twice while using chrome it just locked up, no responses to mouse. Once it somehow activated airplane mode while I was watching a video, also in chrome. I do wish the lighted keyboard was on by itself rather than being on only after hitting a key, not great in the dark but only a minor thing. Still have a couple months to determine if I will keep it.

I thought that after reading many reviews from differant sources that this laptop would work for me But was. wrong. I was not even done with set-up and it Fooze up. Nothing that i tried worked.
I Called many times left measages. No respones. I also sent emails to both email addresses with no responese either.
This been since April, so this review.
I recommand you should not buy!!

Pretty Great Value for Price

After some issues with the first laptop sent to me being stuck in a boot loop, i called their customer service number and within 5 minutes they had all my info and shipped out my replacement within a few hours after I returned the original at the UPS store.

My new laptop that arrived 3 days later was exactly as advertised and works perfectly. So far, so good. I'll write a follow-up review after I spend some time with the laptop over the next few months.

Nice Laptop

Honestly it does everything I have needed it to do so far. I haven't tried to download and play any crazy games because I got it for school but it runs Hearthstone good. My only complaints are I am not the biggest fan of how small the right shift key is because I keep accidentally hitting the up arrow. My other complaint is the speakers on it aren't great. I was playing some modules for school and they don't sound great and I don't like watching YouTube on it. I would give it 5 stars if the speakers were better.

This is a heck of a laptop, however, the price comes with some caveats

There are some peculiarities. Let's list them out. The USB-C power cable appears to have LEDs in them, in that it has dimples where you'd expect LEDs to be to show you the charge state at a glance, but there are no LEDs. That's not a big deal. The LED that shows you the charge status is on the left side of the laptop's frame, but not near the charge port, which is a little odd to me. While the keyboard is illuminated, it seems the LEDs are only at the top, so the light falloff going down is steep. I can live with that. One thing that I found quite unusual was that the Caps Lock and Num Lock keys, in every laptop that I've owned, had an LED built into the key to show you their status. This one does not. Their status LEDs are in the top deck above the function keys to the left. If this is important to you, it may take a little getting used to. And finally, on the 17" model that I purchased, the screen is a little wobbly. With the case open, if you're using it on your lap, if you move the screen is going to vibrate a bit. For table/desktop use, this shouldn't be a big deal.

Performance-wise: well, you're getting what you paid for. For the normal gamut of Office-type applications, it works quite well. You can get plenty of memory and storage space with this laptop, and it should work just fine for normal student and light business/business applications. I can't really judge if this would be suitable for serious application development, i.e. heavy compile/build cycles.

For gaming, again, you're getting what you paid for. It does not have a dedicated video card, you're not going to get decent performance out of top-tier games. Older games, and those that don't require high refresh rates, they may be fine.

I was reasonably satisfied with my 17". However, it was not suitable for what I needed it for, and I had to purchase a more powerful - and much more expensive laptop - to take care of my needs, so I'm returning it. Having said that, I'm probably going to buy a 15" in a year when we take a trip to Europe for photo storage and basic tasks. If it should be stolen, I'm not going to worry too much about it. But best of all, it won't cost much more than the Chromebook that I'd been planning on buying, and will be a lot more functional.

Everything is great

I've had my new Nimo laptop for a couple of weeks now, and everything has been great so far. From the ease of ordering, fast turnaround, tracking the package, then getting the laptop set up was all very good. I also love that the laptop doesn't have a ton of unnecessary programs installed like some other brands. Just turn it on and get to work.

Laptop delivered on time and works perfectly. I'm an IT guy and tested it out thoroughly. I even put Linux on it (Cinnamon Mint) alongside the Windows 11 that it came with. All hardware, drivers, and software worked flawlessly immediately in both Windows and Linux, without me having to download anything extra. Hardware tests and speed tests returned expected results. Laptop feels solid and sleek. I was a little worried about buying a brand I'd never heard of before, so I put it through the wringer when I got it, and it passed with flying colors.

I took a chance buying from a family start-up and I'm happy I did! I've been using the laptop for work and play. I'm impressed with the processing speed and graphics. Again, I'm very happy I took a chance, and I will be a repeat customer!!!

So far it's great

I've only had this for a couple of days. It's great size and weight. Has all the ports I need and the display is spot on. Loved all the brand logos during the start up process and on the power cord. It has plenty of space and speed. I don't do the gaming thing so this is mostly for home and work use. Haven't had to use it for work yet. I have to use a VPN service for that and still need to try it out. Still, overall, I am happy with it. I'll try to follow up after I've used it for a bit
